I’m an American from South Carolina but have raised my family in the foothills north of Atlanta, Georgia. My mother was Belgian and my dad was from Minnesota. They met during the Battle of the Bulge outside my mother’s hometown of Spa. I have four grown children and will be meeting up with one of them and his wife in Belgium. Prior to that, I’ll be traveling a bit with this son’s mother-in-law. I love Amsterdam and she’s never been. We’re both very excited about the possibility of bunking in a houseboat!
